Astronauts

Alan Bean was the Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 12 and the fourth person to walk on the moon. In 1973, he was the Commander of Skylab Mission II where he lived for 59 days in space.

Scott Carpenter flew the second American manned orbital flight in May of 1962. He piloted his Aurora 7 spacecraft through three revolutions of the earth, reaching a maximum altitude of 164 miles.

Eugene Cernan was the second American to walk in space as the pilot on Gemini IX, and, as Commander of Apollo XVII, holds the distinction of being the last man to leave his footprints on the surface of the moon.

Walter Cunningham was one of the three Apollo 7 astronauts and spent over 250 hours onboard the the spacecraft in October of 1968.

Charles Duke served as Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 16, the fifth manned lunar mission. He and spacecraft commander John Young logged over 20 hours of extra-vehicular activity.

Walter Schirra piloted the Sigma 7 Mercury flight in October of 1962, he was the Command Pilot on the history-making Gemini 6 flight in December of 1965, and also commanded Apollo VII in October of 1968.

Kathryn Clark spent 4 years at NASA Headquarters as Chief Scientist for the International Space Station and the Human Exploration & Development of Space Enterprise. She is currently the President of Docere, a company that specializes in science and education.
