Becky GrayBecky graduated from Purdue University, following in the footsteps of the first and last man to walk on the moon. Along with a B.A. in Education, she left Purdue with a keen interest in the space program. After gaining some experience teaching at Challenger School in San Jose, California, Becky's hobby and career converged when she was offered a teaching position with U.S. Space Camp California in Mountain View in 1998. U.S. Space Camp is a program designed to teach science and math skills to young people using a hands-on approach to space education. Becky had found her dream job and flourished there. Within a year, her responsibilities had grown to include staff training, scheduling of facilities, procurement, and general crisis management. She maintained a dual role as the Program Manager and Operations Manager for U.S. Space Camp California, directing and supervising over 35 staff members. As Program manager, she upheld U.S. Space Camp's educational standards and continued the development of course curricula. In her role as Operations Manager, she handled the complex logistics of running simultaneous programs: field trips, week-long camps, parent-child weekend programs, educator programs, and corporate team-building events. Following her experience at Space Camp, Becky put her organizational skills to work as the Office Manager for Facilities First, a corporate facilities management company in Mountain View, CA.
